Red Lipstick is my signature- I almost never wear any other shades of lipstick (I know that's terrible!) Which is why the day I found out L'Oreal Paris was launching the Collection Star Color Riche Lipstick I knew I had to review them and see what the colours were like. The range has quite a variety,7 shades in total, and there is a little something for everyone in there. <br /><br />The range has a Classic Red (Pure Rouge) which was my favorite one (duh!) This is a shade I think everyone should have in their makeup kit. It can easily take you from drab to fab in a minute. <br /><br />Pure Scarleto is a red-ish pink. We know most women don't usually wear bright lipsticks to work but, at the Glamrs Studio, we started a trend of our own and love wearing fun colours to the office! This is a great option to try if you want to start a trend at your workplace ;) <br /><br />Pure Brick is Aishwarya Rai's colour, but I thought it would look absolutely phenomenal on deeper skin tones. If you are want to play it safe, try this shade! <br /><br />Orange was a trend last season, and Pure Fire is a proper orange. Generally, orange looks amazing on Indian skin but, surprisingly, this colour was my least favorite one from the lot. It has very little coverage and I have dark lips so I was not happy with the end result. Compared to the other colours, this one did not live up to my expectations. <br /><br />Pure Vermil is very similar to Pure Scarleto, but it is a warmer pink so I felt like it made me look "healthier". If you have a skintone similar to mine, I would recommend you go for Pure Vermil. <br /><br />PS: This also makes for a phenomenal day colour. <br /><br />Pure Amaranthe, honestly this is the one colour that really surprised me. When we got all the shades, I thought I would NOT like this one but the minute I put it on I was like woah! In a strange way it just worked on me. I am definietly going to buy this one. <br /><br />The last colour they have is Pure Garnet, which is a deep red, almost a plum. This colour looks so delicious after wearing I never want to take it off! I would wear a monochrome makeup(http://glam.rs/MarsalaMonochromeMU) look with this lipstick and wear a yellow outfit (because it is a complimentary colour) which will make the colour really pop.<br /><br />This lisptick is a hydrating matte lipstick, which is why it does transfer. You can try Pallavi's awesome trick to avoid that(http://glam.rs/stainproof). I have always been a loyal M.A.C Lipstick girl (Ruby Woo was my poison), but compared to M.A.C. this lipstick sells at a lower price (Rs.995) ,gave me almost equal coverage and the staying power was good as well. <br /><br />If you want to give red a try, watch the video to find the best one for you.
